So, you guys. I have a confession to make. Me? Huge Nerd. Like capital N – Nerd. Like God, I wish I had a super power, can we please watch the newest episode of Arrow – Nerd. Like Doctor Who, please land your TARDIS in my front yard and take me to watch the Earth die in a ball of flame – Nerd.
They say “[a] reader lives a thousand lives before he dies.” So why would you NOT want those experiences to be in fantastical worlds? My favorite thing in the world is that feeling where you discover something unimaginable – be it via a book or tv or movie – that is so real, so incredible, to you that it’s nearly painful to know it will never be. (Ummm, hello. I think the owl that was carrying my Hogwarts admission letter got lost. Please send another.)
I hit upon a new obsession when I was making these caramel fudge brownies. I like to put a tv show on in the background when I’m baking and I needed a show that David wouldn’t mind me watching without him. (Because everyone knows that valid grounds for divorce arise when you get ahead on Netflix without your spouse. O.o)
Anywho, David had been watching The Flash without me, since he seemed like too goofy of a super hero for me. The Flash–that is, not David. David is totally my kinda super hero. But I decided to give The Flash a try, since I LOVE Arrow and I knew there was quite a bit of cross-over. You GUYS. I totally underestimated this show. A+ from Kaela.
Now excuse me while I go binge watch and catch up to David while eating one too many caramel fudge brownies. Topped with extra drizzles of caramel and hot fudge. Because somehow caramel fudge brownies are even better with extra caramel and hot fudge. And a scoop of ice cream. Oooookaaaaayyy, wow. Too much? Too much. Back to The Flash.

Notes
Caramel is such a pain that I frequently use store bought caramel. But I have also had great luck with this quick and easy caramel sauce by blahnik baker. I just leave out the salt.
