This iced guava chai sun tea is the perfect refreshing drink in the summer! Sweetened with guava and condensed milk for a light creamy, non-alcoholic drink!
Meet my new summer best friend. And the only thing standing between me and melting in the it’s-way-too-hot-for-july summer sun.
Iced guava chai sun tea.
It’s spiced, it’s iced, it’s spiked with guava juice for a hint of the tropical, and topped off with a sweetened condensed milk situation that has me finishing it with a resoundingly refreshing “AAHHHHHHHHHH.”
Make up a big old batch of chai sun tea, as well as a jar of the sweetened milk topper, and keep them ready in your fridge. Then you can play hostess with the mostest when you throw some iced guava chai sun teas together on a moment’s notice for those quick social-distanced backyard visits. (Is anyone else living for the backyard visits, right now?)
Also – note to self. Fix the non-functioning ice maker STAT.
Cheers!
Tips for Guava Chai Sun Tea
To make chai sun tea, add one satchel of your favorite chai tea for every 12 oz of water in a mason jar. Seal and let sit in the sun to steep for one hour. Throw away the chai tea bag(s) and store the chai sun tea in the refrigerator for up to one week.
If you can’t find guava juice or a guava blend juice (often blended with pear puree), then try similarly fruity flavors that have a hint of tropical, like papaya, passion fruit, mango, or pineapple.
Don’t forget to say hi!
