These frozen peach slushies can be served either with champagne or peach-flavored sparkling water and are the perfect summer drink!

You would think that as a food blogger, I would have learned to write down new recipes I try in the event that magic happens and I want to make them again. But you would be wrong. So, so wrong.
Oh. my. gosh.
Alli. These peach slushies are AMAZING. Wait. What did we put in them again?
The number of times I’ve tried to recreate a recipe that has been thrown together haphazardly is astonishing. And disheartening at the number of lost gold-mine-level recipes. (RIP fresh raspberry chocolate chip ice cream.)
Frozen peaches. Frozen apple juice. Peach schnapps. Ice. . . . what WAS in there? Oh yea! And some water, because it was too thick. Do we remember how much? Grab a piece of paper. I’m sure we can estimate everything.
And so . . . in the name of the lost raspberry ice cream recipe, that oh-so-cheesy lasagna for which we have only a scrawled layer-by-layer picture, and that no-bake chocolate tart I still dream of . . . I give you Alli’s and my recipe for peach slushies with champagne–as written the night we made it and heavily inspired by her sweet mom’s similar recipe:
- 1/2 can frozen apple juice concentrate
- 1/2 an average-sized mug of water
- 3/4 of an average-sized mug of peach schnapps
- most of a 16 oz bag of frozen peaches — all but six slices
- 2 two-handed handfuls–using kaela’s baby hands–of ice
- blend & top with champagne. or peach seltzer. or really anything.
the end.

What is an easy summer drink?
Peach slushies! It takes less than five minutes to throw the five ingredients in a blender and make the slushie mix. If you’re making the alcoholic version, you can freeze the slushie mix ahead of time. The peach schnapps will keep the mixture scoopably soft and can be scooped right before serving. If you make the mixture with juice or seltzer, then just remember to let it thaw a bit before serving!
What is a good non-alcoholic summer drink?
Peach slushies! I’m not much for drinking myself. The recipe below includes the non-alcoholic substitutions that I have made. Honestly – there are endless options of what to pour over these peach slushies. Peach or grapefruit seltzer taste fantastic, but sparkling fruit juice would work as well! This version makes a great summer drink for kids!

Ingredients
- 6 oz frozen apple juice concentrate
- 14 oz frozen peaches
- 2 1/2 cups cubed ice
- 1/2 cup peach schnapps (or peach-flavored juice, soda, or sparkling water)
- 1/3 cup cold water
- 1 bottle champagne (or sparkling fruit-flavored water or fruit juice)
Instructions
- Add slushie ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth! Spoon the peach slushie into glasses and top with as little or as much champagne or peach sparkling water as you like!
- Freeze any leftover slushie mixture in an airtight container. No need to thaw if you used peach schnapps--the alcohol will keep this at perfect serving consistency in the freezer for up to 3 weeks!
Notes
This recipe adapts well to pretty much whatever you have on hand. You can substitute any fruit juice, fruit-flavored soda or sparkling water, or fruit-flavored vodka for the peach schnapps. And floating the slushie in just about any slightly sweet drink will be delicious!
